Significant outcomes.

The first year of environmental data collection at Moyarra Pastoral provided an evidence based environmental condition assessment of the Native Vegetation and Soil for Moyarra Pastoral. The Econd® values recorded are indicative of a farm that aims to balance productive capacity and environmental conditions with regenerative agricultural principles.  

Native Vegetation: The Econd® for the whole property is 8, however the assessment of the Mature and Immature Vegetation Assessment Units demonstrates the condition of non-grazing areas of the property generates Econd® with scores between 33 and 49.

Limitations & disclosures.

Property size - Due to the size of the property, external factors such as neighboring properties had a large influence through the 1 km configuration context indicator. In addition revegetation projects on the property did not meet the 20m minimum width required for field measurements and were assigned an Econd® of 0.

Sample Sites- The positioning of some sample sites was adjusted to account for dry creek beds that might impact field measurements in subsequent years.

Sample Intensity- Due to late remapping an additional sample site was identified for EVC18. An increase of one sample site is not expected to significantly impact the overall Econd®.
