Accounting for Nature® Webinar: Developing guidance on reference states in Europe for environmental accounting.
Accounting for Nature and the University of Oxford have launched a strategic research collaboration aimed at expanding evidence-based environmental accounting and the use of the Accounting for Nature® Framework throughout Europe and globally. This collaboration will develop robust, science-based methods for measuring, benchmarking and reporting on the state of nature, enabling organisations to assess better and mitigate nature-related risks and capitalise on emerging opportunities.
This webinar is presented by Dr Molly Grace, Accounting for Nature® Senior Research Lead, and will guide you through the rigorous scientific investigations that the University of Oxford is undertaking to develop best practices for measuring the state of nature, including guidelines for determining the natural intact or undegraded reference state of environmental assets, establishing guidance on attribution of positive impact, and developing state of nature monitoring methods in Europe.

The Accounting for Nature® 5-Step Process

Mammal Condition Method webinar.
This webinar is to learn more about the Accounting for Nature® Mammal Condition Method.
Joining us for the webinar will be guest speaker Matthew Taylor, Ecological Consultant at Ecotec. Matt will introduce the Mammal Condition Method.
The Method allows users to monitor the condition of ground-dwelling and arboreal mammals within the property/project area. The method uses wildlife camera surveys to detect current mammal species richness, which is compared to 'undegraded' mammal species richness (the Reference Benchmark) to give an estimate of mammal condition.
