Accounting for Nature has a highly experienced, respected and well-connected Board of Directors. Since its establishment in 2019, the company has developed a strong track record in partnering with like-minded organisations with whom it is implementing significant and world-leading projects.

  • Peter Cosier AM

    CHAIR

    Peter is a Founding Member of the Wentworth Group of Concerned Scientists, and a Director of the Tasmanian Land Conservancy. Peter was Policy Adviser to the Australian Environment Minister Robert Hill AC and was Deputy Director General for Science and Information in the NSW Government. He has a degree in Science and a Postgraduate Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning. In 2017, he received a University of New England Distinguished Alumni Award.

  • Nadia Campbell

    Nadia Campbell

    Nadia is the Director of Goondicum Pastoral Co. She has worked as a lawyer in private practice, for government owned corporations and as in-house legal counsel for the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. She is also a Director of the Pacific Whale Foundation (Aust); a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and an active member of Australian Animal Care & Education Inc. where she undertakes continual education on Australian Wildlife. Nadia holds a Bachelor of Law (Hons) and a Bachelor of Commerce.

    Cullen Gunn

    Cullen is the Executive Director and CEO of Kilter Rural. He has been overseeing its $400 million investment portfolio from the initial seed investment back in 2006. Since the early 1990’s Cullen has dedicated his working life to advancing sustainable farmland, water and ecosystem management in Australia. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Postgraduate Diploma (Land Rehabilitation).

    Peter is the former Deputy Australian Statistician at the Australian Bureau of Statistics where he was responsible for the Bureau’s environmental statistics program. Peter has extensive international experience in environmental-economic accounting, including as Chair of the UN’s Committee of Experts on Environmental-Economic Accounting. He has a degree in Economics.

  • Dr Ken Henry

    Dr Ken Henry AC

    Ken is a former Chair of the National Australia Bank and the Sir Roland Wilson Foundation at the Australian National University (ANU). He is a former non-executive director of the Australian Securities Exchange and Cape York Partnership. Ken spent 28 years in senior policy advising roles in the Australian government, including 10 years as Australian Treasury Secretary from 2001 to 2011. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences Australia (ASSA), the Australia New Zealand School of Government (ANZSOG) and the Australian Institute of International Affairs (AIIA).

    Max Kitchell

    Max has an Agricultural Science degree, is Chair of the Southern Blue Fin Tuna Management Advisory Committee and of the Small Pelagic Fisheries Scientific Panel, and Member of the Tasmanian Planning Appeals Tribunal. Max was previously Director of the National Oceans Office and Tasmanian Parks & Wildlife Service, Chair of NRM Regions Australia and board member of Greening Australia.

  • Radha Kuppalli

    Radha is Managing Director of Impact and Advocacy at New Forests. She has more than 20 years of experience in real assets investment management, forestry, carbon and biodiversity markets, and conservation finance. Her career has been focused on driving capital allocation towards climate solutions and sustainable development. She is also a Non-Executive Director of Greening Australia and Timberlink Australia and is an Advisory Board member to the Yale University Center for Business and Environment.

    Lynette Mayne AM

    Lynette has a proven commercial track record as a CEO, Chair and Director, and is a successful entrepreneur who has established and run globally competitive businesses. She is Co-Chair of Richard Branson’s B Team Australasia; a Non-Executive Director of the Australian Infrastructure Financing Facility for the Pacific; and was formerly CEO of both Lendlease’s IT&T Investments Division and its Corporate Financial Services Division.

  • Neil Salisbury

    Neil is a seasoned entrepreneur with 30 years of experience in climate, nature, energy and commercialisation. He is an experienced CEO and Founder, having launched several businesses in the ESG, climate and nature related sectors. Neil is currently involved as a founder, chair, advisory board member and investor, in several impact focused start-ups seeking to make a positive change across climate, nature, ESG and livelihoods.He is the founder and Chair of NatureCO, a nature based solutions developer, an enterprise fellow at Melbourne University, co-founder and director of Archipelago energy, an energy equity social venture and an advisory board member of the Climate Futures Institute at Melbourne University.

    Neil was previously the founder CEO of Point Advisory, an international climate and sustainability firm that was acquired by KKR backed ERM in 2022. Neil has worked as a board member for NGO’s including Renew, Victorian Cleantech cluster, International energy efficiency NGO, EVO based in the US and Uniting Care Moreland Hall.

    Neil has degrees in Science and an MBA in Technology Management.

  • David Shelmerdine

    David is the Managing Director of Laradoc, a family-owned agricultural company. He has also served as Founding Director and Deputy Chair of ClimateWorks Australia for more than 16 years. He is chairman of the Melior Australian Impact Fund Advisory Council, a Director of Australian Desert Expeditions and served as a Director and President of the Geneva-based Gold Standard Foundation for 10 years.
