Significant outcomes.

The Soil Econd® score is 92.0, which is a relatively high value considering the degree of landscape alteration that occurred over the productive years of this farm. While Soil Pcond score is 88.0 as a result of two of the indicators outside of reference conditions.

Limitations & disclosures.

Reference Benchmarks - The principal limitation of this account is the level of confidence in the expert assessment of reference condition for soils of the Strzelecki. No empirical data have been found earlier than the 1960s when formal soil surveys commenced. By that time, almost 100 years of change had occurred. There is a small number of relatively undisturbed sites in the local area. Such sites include the Pioneer Reserve in Kongwak. Soil sampling in this reserve may provide useful reference data for future refinement of existing Econd® values.
