The Accounting for Nature® Environmental Account Registry features organisations and individuals that have committed to measuring changes in the condition of environmental assets using our rigorous, science-based environmental accounting standard. This section of the registry provides information about Environment Accounts that have been discontinued voluntarily or due to non-compliance. By publicly listing these accounts, we uphold our commitment to transparency and accountability. This helps stakeholders understand the status of different accounts and the reasons behind their discontinuation to support accuracy and fact-checking of environmental claims.

The Account Holder chose to discontinue their account voluntarily or decided not to continue meeting annual reporting certification requirements and/ or audit procedures if relevant.
Account Holders may choose to voluntarily discontinue their account for various reasons, such as changes in project scope, completion of a project or deciding not to continue using the standard.
Discontinued Accounts are removed from the active registry as ongoing claims can no longer be made. A new account can be created following the registration process or a Certified Account can be re-registered with reference to the original Certified Account data. Please refer to the Standard for details.
A Registered Account is considered discontinued if the Account Holder chose not to progress to Certification stage or the annual renewal fee is not paid by the due date.

The Account Holder failed to comply with the Standard or reporting obligations.
The account no longer meets the compliance requirements set by Accounting for Nature and their account status has been suspended or terminated following our non-compliance process.
