Significant outcomes.

The baseline Econd® of 72.0 reflects the historical use across the Environmental Account area. In general, indicators with the largest scope for improvement include recruitment, large trees and basal area of trees which is consistent with expectations for regrowth vegetation. The absence of large trees is notable but long timeframes will be required to improve the condition of this indicator.

Limitations & disclosures.

Scope - This is a project scale assessment based on a targeted assessment of native vegetation within the environmental accounting area. As such, the condition of the asset is expected to be representative within the account boundaries only and not the entire property.

Stratification - Broad vegetation groups were delineated directly from the mapping product and were not ground-truthed, validated or modified.

Reference Benchmarks - Information on basal area of shrubs was not available for Regional Ecosystems 9.8.7 or 9.5.3 . For the purpose of this asset account, basal area of shrubs was treated as a missing attribute in the calculation of overall condition scores for the baseline account and will be reassessed when the next Account Certification is due.
